Stem cells are very fascinating for both science and society and offer enormous potential for research and treatment of serious diseases. However, most therapeutic approaches are currently still in preclinical and clinical trials and only a few approaches have been approved for use in humans, such as the treatment of severe skin burns.
The scientists of the European stem cell network ➚ "EuroStemCell" would like to explain to society in more detail the stem cell-based approaches currently being pursued in the laboratories and have therefore set up information pages on the state of research and the potential applications for various diseases. The icons listed below will take you directly to the relevant information page.
